Founded in 1972, Micro Control began manufacturing Automated Test Equipment for the Electronics Industry. Unable to find suppliers capable of meeting our requirements for competitive pricing, quality, and delivery, Micro Control Company developed its own in-house capability to manufacture and assemble high reliability printed circuit board assemblies. Building upon our own successes, Micro Control began providing Contract Electronics Manufacturing Services of printed circuit board (PCB) and Mechanical (box build) Assemblies to other Electronic Equipment OEM’s in 1994.   Micro Control Company EMS offers a full line of Contract Manufacturing Services including PCB Design, Prototyping, Low, Medium and High Volume production of High Mix assemblies, Verification and Test.

Lead-Free Expertise

Beginning in 1994, due to the high temperatures under which our burn-in equipment operates, Micro Control Company EMS began using lead free solder in the production of the PCBs used in the manufacture of our Automated Test Equipment product lines. This has given Micro Control Company EMS a vast experience and expertise with lead-free solder, preparing the way to allow us to roll into RoHS Compliancy with great success.

Micro Control Company is housed in a 70,000 square-foot Manufacturing center 15 minutes north of downtown Minneapolis and just 30 minutes from the Minneapolis/St. Paul International Airport.
